So if you want to continue using Office 2011, we suggest not upgrading to macOS High Sierra for the time being. Office 2011 will continue to operate well on earlier versions of the Mac operating system, including Sierra 10.12 or El Capitan 10.11. We’ve tested Office 2011 with High Sierra here at Connectech, and have experienced problems with saving files along with other stability issues. Ensure it does not contain any valuable data copy the data if necessary to an external storage medium to avoid data loss. Plug in a USB drive (at least 16 GB) to your Mac.
